The one room that we often neglect in the rush up to the holidays is the bathroom! If you have guests coming, now it the time to get things in order. There are a few things you can do beyond the necessary straighten and wipe that will make your bathroom guest-ready! Follow my simple tips for creating a germ-free, and pretty bathroom for your guests.
- Have a large sprayer of hand sanitizer in plain view so that your guests will be reminded to spritz their hands after leaving the bathroom. I love the new Intelligent Nutrients one!
- Burn a candle that is made from healthy soy and contains germ-busing essential oils such as Eucalyptus.
- Have a basket of small hand towels by the sink, and sprinkle them with lavender, peppermint or eucalyptus essential oil. Shared towels are a sure-fire way to spread unwanted, holiday germs. Have some options, rotate throughout the day if necessary.
- Have a pump dispenser of good quality soap and hand lotion. I love the Out Of Africa Hand Caddy.
- Make some of my toilet bombs! They are fun and you can stand a jar on top of the toilet – giving your guests a hint!
