Eat Mindfully – Hello?  Are you there?  Most of us totally tune out when we’re eating.  We’re thinking about what we need to do, what our friend said last night, anything but the food we’re eating.  Be present and really enjoy every bite you put in your mouth. Studies show you will eat less and enjoy it more!

3. Eat Fat –  Yes, really!  Enjoying healthy, monounsaturated fats – like coconut milk, avocados, almonds, or extra virgin olive oil – keeps us fuller longer and satiate our hunger. Healthy fats not only burn excess body fat, but they also lower cholesterol, heal depression and allergies, increase energy and alertness, and boost the immune system.
