As you know, I am totally obsessed with turmeric, and am dedicated to working it into my diet however possible. And adding a teaspoon to a Turmeric Pineapple Mango Golden Smoothie is a great way to work it in!!
Confession, this might be my favorite smoothie I’m making this week. The tropical flavors of the pineapple, mango and coconut milk blend perfectly with the subtle spice of the turmeric. Almonds added for texture and nutrients. I would totally recommend adding some ice to this smoothie – This smoothie is best served cold!!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 c. pineapple
- 1 c. frozen mango
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 8 oz coconut milk
- A handful of raw almonds
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients to your blender, and blend until smooth.
- Optional, add crushed ice for additional hydration
