It’s not easy for me to find a candle that my husband doesn’t hate! He’s not a sweet, floral guy in terms of scents, and professes that when I burn most candles (even though they are totally natural), they make him feel nauseous. So, it’s the on-going candle battle in our home because both my daughter and I are obsessed with our smelly candles. However, one exception to his protestations has recently appeared on the scene, and he actually likes it! Trailside by Ursa Major has a very unique scent, which is beyond perfect for this time of year: It’s a kind of woody, earthy scent, which is reminiscent of walking through a pine forest on a beautiful winter day. I love a scent that transports me, and this one does.
Also thrilled to report that Ursa Major products (which I’ve just discovered and am loving) are all made in the US of A (in Vermont), and are clean/green/non-toxic, with uber eco friendly packaging. I think this candle would make a great gift, especially for the guy who you just-don’t-know-what-on- earth to get him.
I better get stocked up on these while they have free-shipping – especially since it’s the only candle that I’m “allowed” to burn now!
