OMG Skinny and Company’s coconut oil is something else! I didn’t realize that there was so much difference between a super-duper quality “cold-pressed” oil, and a mediocre one. But there most definitely is! I must say that I did wonder – with all the big chains bringing out there store-brand version of this ever-so-popular and trendy oil. Here’s the deal with Skinny and Company’s oil: They are the ONLY company in the world to use a low-friction air jack to extract their oil – what this means in layman’s terms is that most “cold-pressed” coconut oils still use heat for extraction & processing, and this heat interferes with all the goodness in the oil – it also changes the taste and texture. True cold-pressed virgin oil is buttery (but not too oily) and works beautifully for cooking, baking, and slathering all over your bod. LOVE!!!!!
