This is great! Every chance I get, I try to let my friends know how they can be ‘green revolutionaries’ along with me! Just helping one friend be more green is like the ripple effect…eventually tons of people will be more eco-minded!
The Green Revolution with fine intentions began to attempt to feed the masses and the ever growing population and now we know this isn’t sustainable and led to environmental problems. Currently we are heading back to the small farmer…organic foods… homesteading…and a new shade of green! I have begun my own transformation in becoming green and have yet been able to afford to delve into the beauty end of it. I would love to be able to try the Revolution Organics products.

Just stumbled upon this website recently and am inspired that there are so many women who actually care about being stewards of the earth. Every year I try to make one or two “green” changes to my everyday routine that I plan to carry out through my lifetime. This year I’m attempting to introduce more green products into my beauty regimen – since I have sensitive skin I have not had great luck with natural care products but I’d love to give the multi-purpose balm included in the kit a try!
The Green Revolution is about making a way in this world that involves not only taking care of your body, but also the environment. What we consume is extremely important as what we do for our environment. I believe they both go hand and hand and is something that I am trying to advocate to my family and friends. It sometimes can be a struggle spreading the word and living by example, but it is well worth it to me and I will continue to mark my territory on this green journey until the end.

I really try to incorporate greener healthier products into my daily routine. As I try different ones available at my local food coop I have yet to find a lotion that I really enjoy. Revolution sounds like what I’ve been looking for. I’d love to try it!
I am almost 59 years old and have always been told I have beautiful skin. When I try Revolution my friends will notice an even greater improvement and will want to try the product themselves. Green Revolution…green happens to be my favorite color:) It’s the color of life. Beautiful LIFE. To me the Green Revolution is giving life back to the earth. Most of us have taken so much from the earth, and, sadly, taken with abandon, unaware of the harm it’s doing. In the past 10 years, though, more and more people are scrutinizing how they do things. They are becoming more aware of the life around them, and the vital need to give back to the earth. The Green Revolution is a powerful force which brings awareness to everyone. The awareness to balance the earth, to respect the earth, and give life back to the earth.
I have been using other brand ORGANICS but I would love to try another brand that my girls would love, as they state the other brands do not untangle their long hair as well as the ‘commercial’ brands.
The Green Revolution is something that I am so happy to be apart of. I am also happy to be able to include my 3 young children in this wonderful way of thinking as well. It is not only important that we as adults do what we can to make our voices heard, but to also make sure our children understand how important it is to treat the Earth and each other with love and care. The Green Revolution is a movement that I take pride in, because I am most definitely involved in it. Mainly, the revolution means giving back to our planet, which can help us humans in return. Everything and anything from buying from socially responsible and eco-friendly companies, to using a reusable cloth instead of paper towels, to bike riding to work instead of driving, to reducing the amount of waste you create can absolutely give life back to our environment. You can still live a healthy and luxurious lifestyle while making green choices and saving money. Big changes or small, your impact can help our Earth in extraordinary ways.

My family and I have been going a little bit greener each time we go shopping. Cleaning products have been easy to find (plus I’ve started to make my own, thanks Sophie for the recipes!), food is getting easier but cosmetics are a bit of a challenge. I’m curious/eager to try these products from Revolution.

The green revolution is a win win situation. If only everyone could see the long term benefits. One difference can spark a new wave of appreciation for the planet. In turn we receive happiness for taking a risk by slipping out of our normal rountines. Sure its hard to try something new or change a bit, but you’ll have a smile on your face that gives assurance for a better world. So be an example…show the new eco friendly product your trying or talk about your experience of learning how to compost. People inspire people.

I am a huge advocate for organics and natural skin care products. I have recently switched all of my make-up to Lavera, my skin care to Dr. Haushka and am on the constant lookout for new and exciting eco fiendly & organic products.
Having grown up in Ukraine, in a small town with a weekly farmers market being held every weekend, I always took organics for granted. After immigrating to Canada at the age of 13 I gorged on mass-produced big corporation labels! When in Rome do as the Romans. I have since come a full circle and have not only become more environmentally aware but aware of the fact that you only have one skin to live in and it matters greatly as to what you put on it (as well as what you eat also of course). I have not heard of Revolution before but it would be fabulous to give them a try. Thanks for this!

While not perfectly “deep green,” I am obsessed with finding ways to improve!
I had resisted using plastic razors for years–I tried different things like using an electric razor (my legs didn’t feel that smooth) and I even bought one of those devices that pulls all of the hair from your legs (ouch!) until finally I bought some antique razors. While I wouldn’t recommend a straight razor, since they can be dangerous if you’re not used to them, the safety razors that I bought are just as safe and comfortable as using a disposable. All you’re throwing away is a biodegradable blade.
They’re easy to find on ebay, and super-cheap! I bought four razors for $5.

After learning of my son’s heavy metal toxicity (mercury and lead) that are really compromising his immune system, I needed to wake up!! I am realizing that all my products affect him as well. He is coming in contact with my largest organ–SKIN, whilst trying to get hugs and love! I need to make sure I don’t add insult to injury. On the quest to find/try safe products for us both!!
The green revolution means having my 6 yr old constantly reminding me to recycle correctly…and it means walking back to my car after forgetting my reusable bags, but it also means we’re now more educated about choices to sustain our fragile earth.
