Own Skincare recently arrived on my desk, and having tested most of their products, I think they are a pretty good basic line for someone who is looking for a reasonably-priced “Clean” skin care line. They are fragrance-free (very important,) and paraben/sulphate-free. They are also vegan and are not tested on animals.
The Starter Kit comprises of a Rejuvenating Cleanser, a Refining Moisture Night Cream, and a Dual Protecting Day Lotion (SPF 30). All this comes in at $45.00, which is very reasonable, considering you might pay that amount for a really good SPF Day Cream at a beauty supply.
I think these products are especially good for women in their thirties, and on skin that may be a little on the sensitive side. The cleanser does a great job of removing makeup (it is thick and creamy though,) and the Day Lotion applies beautifully, and wears well under makeup.
