Many people are magnesium-deficient. Because of the depleted soil in which our food is grown, we now have to use specific supplements to make sure we’re getting the vital minerals we need. Magnesium is a “calming” supplement. If you feel jittery, have a hard time sleeping, have muscle twitches or cramps – you might need magnesium to calm all these symptoms down.
