It’s always tough to find a “natural” shampoo that doesn’t leave your hair somewhat straw-like, so I was thrilled to test out Innersense shampoo and conditioner, and compare it to the brands that my beloved hair stylist, Christina, uses on me. I tried the Color Awakening shampoo first, which is formulated with sunflower seed oil, which protects hair from fading. I actually really loved it. For a non-SLS shampoo, it sudsed up really nicely and left my hair feeling clean, but not stripped. I then conditioned with the Color Radiance daily conditioner, which is formulated with essential oils and flower essences – it’s a lovely, light daily conditioner that will work for most hair types, however, I would personally supplement with a richer hair treatment once or twice a week.
Here’s the great thing about Innersense products – there are truly organic and truly free of all the harmful ingredients that we just don’t need. They are crafted from bio-dynamic plant ingredients that are super rich in fatty acids, lipids and anti-oxidants – a nourishing “drink” for your hair and scalp. They also carry a range of styling products that look really great. Next on my list to try? Their whipped creme texturizer, and Finishing Spray (I am so done with all those toxic hair sprays that are used rather too liberally on set – yuck!),
