Horse O Peace Goat Milk Soap

I am besotted with Horse O Peace raw goat milk soaps! I have seen many skin issues (my husband and a close gal pal), that have totally cleared up with these awesome soaps. I believe the reason is that raw goat milk is very soothing and healing on the skin, but Horse O Peace goes one step further by added particular herbs and botanicals for specific skin issues.

So let’s talk about my husband’s psoriasis: He dreaded washing his hands because the scaly patch on his little finger would flare up. But, I got him a bar of Horse O Peace Pine Tar Goat Milk soap, and the rest is history! This particular soap is really helpful for a number of skin issues, particularly when the skin is broken, inflamed, and/or overly sensitive.

So, the success with this initial bar got me wanting to try a bunch of other Horse O Peach soaps, and now I’m hooked. They have a huge selection – all scented with pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils. My favorites to date: Lemon Cornmeal (for morning exfoliation), and Tea Tree Jojoba for it’s outstanding antibacterial properties.

What makes this whole Horse O Peace thing even better for me is that the company is owned by a husband and wife team, Nick and Elizabeth, who started their soap business in Wisconsin, from scratch – well actually from Elizabeth’s sister’s sassy little goats. The name came from the farm they live on with their 3 kids, the Horse O Peace ranch. They assured me that the goats are treated with love and care 24/7, and that their products are only tested on humans.

I also love that they have a Soap Club where you can order as many bars as you want a month. I love this because no sooner do I find a soap I love, then I discover it’s reduced to a sliver in my soap dish, and I don’t want to go through the bother of ordering again. The Soap Club subscription would also make a lovely gift for someone.

So, if you’re looking for a healthy, beautifully scented soap, or a soap to treat a specific skin condition, check out Horse O Peace.
