My list of intentions 🙂
I intend to be happy.
I intend to live on a clean, green earth.
I intend to do a better job with doing my part for my health and the environment.
I intend to learn something new everyday.
I intend to keep going forward and stop looking back.
I intend to accept others for who they are.
I intend to finish my degree and get a wonderful job that I love by 2011.
I intend to show my love more openly and let those I love know it!
Hi! I’m so excited about being gorgeously green and about finding your site. Beautiful! I’m really trying to be as green as I can, and am making my roommates do the same. I work at the olive garden and have joined the green team. We have already done a ton of things to save the planet there, which is just amazing!”I believe all things are possible and so they are”
Thank you Geniece
I agree we must live each day with a purpose. I hope that I am living my life in such a way as to leave a legacy to those around me to love more, work hard, and give.
What a great business to start! I love that Sophie highlights these so we can support them!
As for the topic, I totally agree that it is so important to live with intent. I’ve always loved the Ghandi quote, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I find that if I live like I want to see others do and focus on my learning and growth and small changes it keeps me positive. I think sometimes when we focus on what others don’t do, we get bitter and frustrated and alienate those who learn from us. I think it is also the best way for our kids to learn – by watching us try and learn and do more each and every day. Keep up the great work, all you GG girls! 🙂
Whatever you put out into the Universe the Universe will bring back. The more positive actions and thoughts you have the more positive will come back to you.
I absolutely believe in the power of the mind. The more you tell yourself something, the more likely it is to become true.
Focus on the present……slow down…..Breathe in the good…..Exhale the bad. again….
I try to instill positive thoughts into my children every day. The world can be a hurtful place, but if I can help teach them to be kind and respectful, then hopefully it will be contagious to their friends and acquaintances.
I intend to accept myself as I am.
As a new mom, I am more concerned than ever about my family’s health and the health of our planet. While thinking/obsessing about these big things, I am also overwhelmed with tons of little things–just trying to adjust to my new role, sleep deprivation, laundry, and body changes. My intention is to focus on the following in my quest to create a happy, healthy home…I think it is an intention most women could benefit from, so I thought I would share!
Taking care of yourself allows you to take better care of others.
When you set an intention, the universe is listening. Everything and anything is possible if you truly set your mind to it. If you have the passion, drive and faith for something, setting an intention is the easy part. Anyone can change their life to realize their destiny. Commit to what you truly love to do: dreams can come true!
My intention:
“I will love and accept myself so that my dreams come true.”
I will be a Grandma for the first time in one month. Although I’ve always taken health seriously as a nurse, my viewpoint has become much deeper now that I think about the world my Grandbaby will grow up in. I want to make a difference in his/her life by teaching the importance of the quality of the food we eat, the products we put on our bodies and choices we make that will affect this God-given Earth that we all live on.
As a nurse, I now have the opportunity of teaching my patients and co-workers of the adverse effects that many of the products we use are causing. I hope to make a difference in the lives of others by living consciously.
Living each day without intent is like driving the car with no destination in mind. How would you ever get where you want to go if you haven’t defined where it is you want to be?
About 6 months ago when I first bought the book Gorgeously Green on a whim because of the title & started reading through the first couple of pages, I had set a goal & intended to become more green & healthy throughout the course of reading the book & making my life more meaningful. Over the last few months, taking the steps towards the goals I had set have been more rewarding each & every day. Knowing that what I am doing not only for planet, but for myself is nothing short of amazing. Knowing the knowledge I can spread because of the book is awesome.
I feel like a better person going to the gym & using an aluminum water bottle instead of constantly using plastic ones that people so easily throw away. I feel better putting more organic and naturally grown products into my body knowing that I’m not stuffing my temple with chemicals.
My intentions to become more green & healthy are slowly inspiring others. I realized, even if no one listens to me, knowing that I am closer to being as green as I had intended is the most amazing feeling I can ever feel.
I thank everyone that has taken steps towards being green & making themselves & this planet a better place to live for everyone and everything. Knowing that something we do now can affect what others so later will never stop feeling amazing.
My intention everyday is simple; to give love. It’s the only thing that heals you.
I intend to live in each and every moment, and to experience those moments whole heartedly so that oneday, when I am older and greyer I will have many beautiful photos in my head.
positive affirmations are my favorite, and i love to literally wear them on my sleeve.thanks for sharing this fabulous vendor.
Setting an intention to me is about making a permanent change in your life and living that intention on a daily basis! Maybe even posting it in a visible spot in your home as a reminder!
My intention today is to beat my breast cancer once and for all. I start chemo again tomorrow and know all things are possible, especially healing.
Mind over matter! With thought and perserverence great things can happen. We are “our” key to unlocking health, happiness and longevity!
I intend to live each day better than the last, to not let others negativity take me down, and to start putting my needs on my to do list.
Don’t I wish everyone had this attitude! Life would be so much gentler and easier to live.
My daily intention is to create a positive, healthy and happy atmosphere for every child that passes through my home.
My intentions reflect my desire to turn each child towards a healthy lifestyle, a happy mind, and a heart filled with love.
My personal intention is to remember to carry out these goals each chance I can~our existance now and in the future depends on what we create today!
My intention: To do my best every day, to educate those around me so they are able to make more informed decisions, and to smile at one stranger every day.
By putting these down, I already feel better and am in a more positive mood (despite the fact it has been raining non-stop for a week where I live!).
Life is about perception….the better you perceive it to be, the better it will be…..
Fall 7 times, stand up eight.

The benefits of good intentions are immeasurable! Right now my intentions are to be a positive role model for my son, to incorporate healthy organic foods into our diet and to continue our baby steps to being green! But most of all, I intend to be happy and enjoy each moment!
Setting and Intention:
I intend to be a good mother to my baby boy due in about 9 weeks. It is our first baby and I have done so much research to the right skincare line for him, to toys, vaccinations, doctors, laundry detergent, and etc, that I just hope and pray that I can be the best mother to him as my mom was to me. I mean I know I am human and make mistakes, but I intend to give my son the things that I didn’t have and much more.
I intend to take better care of my body, even when (especially when!) I am overwhelmed with work responsibilities. I will rest when I’m tired, do the skin care routines that I know make me look and feel better, and exercise regularly!
I am healthy and beautiful and full of energy. I share health, beauty, and energy with those around me.
I intend to live life as my dog does – stop to smell the flowers, enjoy a good belly rub, be excited when family comes home, throw my face into the wind and know when someone needs a wet nose of kindness and love.
“In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.”
Mother Teresa
I intend to do small things with great love.
My new mantra–no more excuses. Becoming aware of and dumping old negative excuses opens me up to much more positive thinking…and making positive changes in my life.
I’m new at this. I am learning to live in the present. I’m thinking this is the year of Hope. Taking care of me.
Every new day is a new start. I intend to appreciate that gift as there are not many things that we can start over on a daily basis.
