I’ve been meaning to test out this hair dryer for a long time. A hairstylist friend of mine is obsessed with her Bio Ionic Power Light because she says it’s saved her wrists. She’s very petite and so drying all day with a huge salon dryer was killing her. I’m also a big fan of all the Bio Ionic products I’ve tried so far..This dryer did not disappoint. It’s surprisingly light for such a powerful (1875W) dryer, and it dries your hair super-quickly.
I first tested the Bio Ionic Power Light on my daughter who has really thick, long hair. She can’t bear having it dried, but I said she was doing the G.G. community a favor by being a Guinea Pig – so paddle brush in hand I tackled her unruly mane. We were both very impressed, as her hair really did dry much more quickly than when I use my monstrously heavy salon model. I then had a go at mine and was further impressed because it seemed to smooth as it dried. Maybe it’s because it’s not as fierce as some of the other powerful dryers. I do know that it has nano beads, which apparently accelerate drying, and infrared heat. It also emits negative ions, which is always a good thing when you’re exposing yourself to a powerful electromagnetic field (EMF).
All in all, The Bio Ionic Power Light dryer really is worth the higher price tag if you’re a girl like me who loves to style her hair on a daily basis. My green slant is that the faster drying time, means less energy used!
