What a brilliantly eco-friendly product! Did you know that 3000 tons of paper towel waste is created per day? I am absolutely obsessed with Bambooee paper towels. To be able to actually use guilt-free paper towels is a joy in any kitchen. Bambooee paper towels are, as the name implies, made from bamboo, which is obviously a renewable crop because it grows back so quickly once it’s chopped down (and it requires very little irrigation to grow). But here’s the genius thing about these towels – they are made to last: One roll can last you for almost six months because you use one sheet for about a week before disposing of it (it can easily be composted too). The fiber is highly absorbent in the same way that a paper towel is – once you’ve cleaned up your spill or wiped down your countertop and sink, you just rinse it out (bamboo is also naturally antibacterial), or toss it in the washing machine. I’ve even microwaves a wet Bambooee Paper Towel for 20 seconds to kill bacteria. Paper towels are expensive, particularly the ones that are made from post-consumer content, so this is a brilliant alternative that you won’t want to pass over.
