I love to custom create my smoothies to be as hormone-balancing as possible, which is why I created the ultimate hormone-balancing smoothie choc full off adaptogens (that help support hormone function), healthy Omega fats, probiotics, fiber, and minerals/vitamins.
- 1 scoop protein powder ( I recommend hemp or pea protein)
- 1tsp Maca powder
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, or sunflower seeds depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle – if the concept of Seed Cycling in new to you, check it out to see how you might be able to best balance your hormones during your monthly cycle by eating specific seeds at specific times.
- 1tsp raw virgin coconut oil
- 2 dried prunes
- 2tbsp coconut, soy, goat milk yogurt (no sugar added), or Kefir
- A handful of spinach
- Water/crushed ice as needed
Place all the ingredients into a high speed blender and process until smooth – add as much water or crushed ice as desired.
