Healthy Ice Blended Drinks

I’m in the kitchen today and ready to show you how you can enjoy your blended and iced coffee drinks with a fraction of the calories. By making these healthy ice blended drinks at home, it is not only healthier, but also cheaper! Stevia sweetener is also a great alternative for sugar when making these drinks at home.

Ingredients for a Cinnamon Mocha 

  • 2 cups non-dairy milk of your choice (try So Delicious Coconut or Almond)
  • 2 tsp instant coffee (or 1/2 cup strongly brewed coffee)
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 2 pitted dates (or a pinch of stevia; a squirt of Agave (does raise blood sugar)
  • Whipped soy or rice cream
  • Organic chocolate syrup (I will bring in)
  • A pinch of cinnamon

 

Directions for a Cinnamon Mocha Frappuccino

  1. Blend all ingredients well in a blender.
  2. Pour into large ice cube trays.
  3. Freeze until slushy.
  4. Either toss into blender again, or pour directly into tall glass.
  5. Top with cream, choc syrup and cinnamon.

 

Ingredients for a Green Tea Frappuccino

  • 2 cups non dairy milk
  • 3 tsp Matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A minute pinch of sea salt
  • A pinch of stevia or a squirt of Agave
  • Whipped soy or rice cream
  • 1 tsp coconut shreds

 

Directions for a Green Tea Blended Ice Drinks

  1. Blend all ingredients well in a blender.
  2. Freeze or add ice, enjoy.
