    I have become a green girl over the past year with the help of all of your ideas. I harvested a garden, recycle everything and have a compost. It is not moving along very quickly now that the weather has turned so cold here in the Midwest. I have some great gift ideas that I am putting together such as spice mixes or antique/thrift finds.

    I tried to push the green limit by making copies of what I felt were “the most important pages” of my friends Gorgeously Green book. Well, I’m sure you can guess that turned out to be a less than green solution, as I was ending up copying almost every page. Needless to say, I now own the book and have purchased many more to give as presents!

    What a terrific idea! My contribution to being more green that I have had the most success so far with is that now I eat mostly veggie, and I try to use as many natural cleaning products as possible. I love, love, love soap nuts for my wash, my hair, and for cleaning. Also, our old friend- white vinegar!

    New reason to go green: Just watched Food Inc. I was crying because of the damage our nation is causing to the universe. I didn’t realize the huge concern with GMOs. I just want to use/eat products that are honest, is that too much to ask!?!
