Having read the research behind the Oxygen Pur water system, I wish I had one of their Oxygen Spa units in my own home – actually, I wish I had a spa in my own home! Wonder if it would work in my bath – Hmm. But, since I’m not one of the “Housewives of..” I’ll just have to be content with using the Oxygen Pur skin care products. The whole concept behind this line is that our skin can absorb way more oxygen through water than it can from the air around us. Oxygenating our cells, especially our skin cells, is obviously a good thing in terms of anti-aging. So, Oxygen Pur uses supersaturated oxygenated (there’s a tongue-twister,) water in all of it’s products.
I love the Oxygen Pur Pomegranate serum. The idea is that once this oxygenated serum has been transported into the deeper layers of the dermis, it remains active for forty minutes, thus allowing the underlying cells to get the healing and regeneration that they need. I kind of love the idea of my skin being regenerated from the inside out.
This serum is free of any weird or dodgy ingredients – it pretty much contains the oxygenated (stabilized,) water and pure cold-pressed (very important,) pomegranate oil. It’s recommended that you apply a thin layer morning and evening after cleansing. You need to let it absorb completely before applying moisturizer.
