I’m obsessed with Brazilliance Self-Tanner by Tarte. It is truly the best self-tanner I’ve found, and this is why:
1. It doesn’t stink! Really and truly – this is the first self-tanner I’ve ever tried that doesn’t have even a hint of that weird scent that you can detect in almost every self-tanner. ZERO icky smell – phew!
2. Doesn’t streak: It’s tough to apply self-tanners because you almost always get some kind of a streak or uneven patch, especially around your heels and knees. Not so with Brazilliance Self-Tanner by Tarte. It goes on slick and smooth because it has a silky texture. Its also brown, so easy to see how and where you’ve applied it. The initial brown does disappear once it’s applied, and you have to wait a few hours for your tan to develop.
3. No brown palms: It comes with a mitt. How genius is this little purple-flowered glove because you don’t have to get one speck of self-tanner near your hands. The mitt is also wonderful for smoothing on the product and really helps with smoothing it over areas such as your backside and backs of your knees.
4. Other good stuff: Tarte has infused this product with their legendary Maracuja oil, which is high in Vitamin C – so aside from giving yourself a deep tan, you get to give your skin a good drink of vitamins and moisture.
I haven’t tried Brazilliance Self-Tanner by Tarte on my face despite the fact that its supposed to be a face & body tanner – I just don’t love a self-tanner on my face unless I’m on vacation somewhere hot, but I’m sure it does a great job. But, for my bod – it will give me the confidence to get into a bikini when I go on vacation next month.
