Golden Milk Creamy Latte

You’ll find all kinds of Golden Lattes in various coffee shops now, but it’s much better to make your own Golden Milk Creamy Latte at home. This way you avoid the added sugar and other questionable ingredients.  My Golden Milk Creamy latte is heaven in a mug.

I’ve added optional adaptogens to boost up your immune system. Adaptogens are a natural way to support your body to do what it does naturally. I incorporate them into my diet whenever I can. They don’t always taste amazing, and that’s why hiding them in a delicious latte is a great idea.

I love to add turmeric into my diet whenever I possibly can. If you’re not a massive latte fan, you HAVE to try my warming Turmeric Carrot Lentil Soup.

Once you try this Golden Milk Creamy Latte, you’ll be sold.

Ingredients

1 heaping tsp Ora’s Good As Gold Turmeric Powder (Or you could use 1/2 tsp ground turmeric with a tiny pinch of black pepper and 1 tsp Reishi Mushroom powder  instead).

8-ounces of boiled filtered water (I use water that is just off the boil)

2 pitted dates, or 2 tsp date syrup (you could add monk fruit or stevia to sweeten if you prefer).

6 ounces steamed almond or organic soy milk

Topping: When I’m feeling decadent, I top mine with Coconut Whipped Cream*, Navitas Naturals cacao nibs, and toasted coconut flakes. Please note that if you have heart disease, history of heart disease, and/or you are trying to lose unwanted pounds, leave this coconut whipping cream topping out! I have it as an occasional treat, but for the most part, I don’t recommend coconut oil or coconut cream as a “health food”. But it’s amazing as a beauty product. See my video all about it here.
