Ep 008 | Natural Ways To Balance Hormones – Menopause, Perimenopause and More

Today, we’re talking about natural ways to balance your hormones and feel great! One of the best ways I’ve found to balance hormones is through diet. Eating the right foods can make a huge difference. Foods to avoid include: Sugar is a huge culprit, so is dairy. If you want a dessert, go for treats sweetened with sweeteners that won’t spike your blood sugar. I love dates as an alternative, they are simply delicious. Gluten, alcohol and caffeine are also probably on my “no fly list” for hormone health. But the most important thing is that you treat your body with love, and listen to your intuition. Vitamin D is also important – Either from the sunshine or as a supplement. Just remember, it’s worth while to get your levels tested before adding any supplement to your regimen. And of course, managing your stress is HUGE, especially for hot flashes! I am so obsessed with Facebook Live as a platform!
